In Episode #8 of This Ocean Life podcast we speak with David Ochoa, accomplished spearfisherman and co-creator of the amazing film, Aqua Negra. David shares his stories of growing up in Portugal and learning to spearfish in the Azores while pursuing a university degree in film making. We hear about David's experience in Cape Verde, a remote location off the African coast where David and team filmed Aqua Negra and pursued their search for new water, new experiences, and new friendships. Aqua Negra is a beautiful and amazing film -- you do not have to love spearfishing to love this movie.
Thanks for sharing David's ocean life with us. Be sure to check out Agua Negra on Vimeo and amazing photos and videos of David on Instagram. Lovely interview! I have both Agua Negra and Inhale movies, and highly recommend each as meaningful additions to any personal collection. Great podcast, with thoughtful questions that obviously provoked interesting answers. Thank you!
